Recently a new Muslim organisation was launched by members from diverse Islamic Community. This new association is named as Surrey Heath Muslim Association. Surrey Heath Muslim Association was launched on 28th January 2007 in a meeting organised by members of the Muslim community from diverse ethnic and national backgrounds. The basic premise is to establish an organisation that can focus the activities and voice of the diverse Muslim community in Surrey Heath, the main concern being that their views are not heard and their needs not catered.
